Our Hong Kong fabric library features over 20,000 premium suiting options, selected for breathability, natural drape, and long-term wear. Each fabric is chosen with climate, comfort, and versatility in mind.
Luxury Mills
We work with respected mills such as Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Reda, Vitale Barberis Canonico, and Lanificio di Marzoni, alongside carefully selected non-branded luxury fabrics that deliver exceptional performance.
Custom Linings
From understated classics to bold statement designs, linings are chosen to complement the suit’s purpose. We guide you on lining weight, breathability, and style so the inside of the jacket feels as considered as the outside.
How Clients Use Their Suits
Business wear, travel, weddings, formal events, and seasonal rotation. We recommend fabrics based on how often you wear the suit, where you wear it, and how you want it to perform.
Appointments
Fabric selection is best done in person, where texture, weight, and finish can be seen under natural light. Consultations are available in Hung Hom and Tung Chung, by appointment only.

Creating a Unique Bespoke Suit in Hong Kong

Luxury suit fabrics and custom printed lining options at Myra Tailors in Hong Kong

Choose the Fabric. Design the Lining. Make It One-of-One.

A great suit starts with the right cloth—but the details are where it becomes yours. At Myra Tailors Hong Kong, you can now choose a lining that’s custom made from your own image or artwork. We help you match the fabric and the lining to your purpose, then refine the final design so it prints cleanly and looks intentional.

Design Freedom
Provide an image, artwork, or inspiration—your lining is digitally printed through our vendor with guidance on resolution and layout.
Guided Pairing
We start with the purpose of the suit, then select fabric, then lining—so the final look feels balanced, not random.
Breathability Options
Choose quarter, half, or full lining based on comfort. Lining materials include Bemberg or premium satin.
Signature Finish
Place the design throughout the jacket—full lining, sleeves, inside pockets, pocket flaps—and even matching pocket square. Embroidery is also available.

Custom lining is an add-on, typically around HK$1,500. For best results, we recommend high-resolution artwork— we’ll adjust the layout to meet printing specs.

Fabric Guidance

Fabric Questions Clients Ask Us in Hong Kong

What fabric weights work best for Hong Kong’s climate?

It depends on how you plan to wear the suit. Many clients choose a year-round fabric, while others prefer warm-weather specific cloths or multiple suits by season. During your consultation, we explain fabric weights and Super numbers clearly and help you choose based on comfort, structure, and how warm you tend to run.

What’s the difference between brand-name mills and non-branded fabrics?

Renowned mills are known worldwide for their consistency, durability, and reputation. That said, our non-branded premium fabrics are carefully selected for quality and longevity and often perform just as well— without the premium price tied to a name. We’ll explain both options so you can decide what makes sense for you.

Should I prioritize softness, durability, or breathability?

Durability is a given. From there, we guide you based on your preference for softness, wrinkle resistance, or breathability. Options include wool, wool-linen blends, cashmere wool, silk blends, premium cotton suiting, and more. The right choice depends on how often you wear the suit and the environments you’re in.

What fabric or pattern do you recommend for a first custom suit?

For a first suit, we always recommend a clean, solid color in a high-quality fabric. While plaids and checks are elegant, they’re less practical for frequent wear. A simple fabric with strong construction gives you the most versatility and longevity.

How do you guide clients on suit linings?

Linings are selected with purpose. We offer quarter, half, or full linings based on breathability and climate. For business suits, we suggest subtle solids or light patterns. For weddings, linings often complement the wedding theme. Statement suits allow for bolder patterns or fully custom designs provided by the client.

How often should a suit be dry cleaned?

Dry cleaning is the best method. For frequent wear, we recommend cleaning every 1–2 weeks. Occasional wear typically requires cleaning every 6 weeks, while rarely worn suits may only need cleaning once per quarter or as needed. Proper rotation and care help extend the life of the fabric.
